In 2019, Robert independently secured a commission from BBC World to follow a highly vulnerable LGBTQI+ refugee community, the majority of whom had fled persecution in Uganda, Sudan, and Somalia, where anti-gay laws include life imprisonment and the death penalty. The film follows their fight for equality alongside Kenya's landmark court case challenging the criminalisation of homosexuality.
