EL-MOLO: THE LAST PEOPLE OF THE LAKE
1 x 30
Final Stages of Production
This observational documentary follows the El-Molo, Kenya’s smallest Indigenous community, as they confront unprecedented climate change and the loss of their ancestral land to government-backed development linked to Africa’s largest wind farm. These pressures threaten their livelihood, culture, and way of life.
Robert worked closely with participatory video NGO InsightShare, which part-funded the project and provided exceptional access, allowing him to independently film, document, and live alongside the community. The film is currently awaiting final developments and funding for completion, distribution, and release.
